Please note: We require a 3-hour minimum on all moves.

We take pride in careful handling of your belongings by our experienced professionals.  However, for your peace of mind, we are fully licensed and insured by the State of South Carolina.  To ensure the most comprehensive coverage, we also suggest checking with your homeowner's insurance provider to see if they offer additional coverage for moving-related damages.

Are there any items you will not move?

Accepted Answer

For safety reasons and/or legal restrictions, we cannot move certain items. These include:

Hazardous materials (flammable liquids, explosives, etc.)

Open containers of alcohol

Firearms (Please refer to ATF regulations for proper transportation: https://www.atf.gov/)

Cash money (We recommend transporting cash money under your direct control)

Important documents (passports, wills, etc.) - We recommend packing these yourself for safekeeping

Wrap each fragile item individually: Don't skimp on the bubble wrap! Ensure every surface is well-cushioned to absorb impact during transport.
Use the right size boxes: Fill boxes snugly with packing materials to prevent items from shifting and breaking. Heavier items should go in smaller boxes for better handling.
Label boxes clearly: Mark all boxes containing fragile items with "FRAGILE" in large, bold letters. Consider adding arrows indicating the top of the box for proper handling.
